SustainaBuild isoffering a range of targeted events and networking opportunities designed to equip small and medium sized installation businesses to grow and access new and existing markets.

The first of three free events open to businesses in the East of England will take place in Watford on Tuesday 21 April.

This event will focus on low carbon retrofit and will include a free guided tour of the BRE innovation park, showcasing green technologies in some of the world’s most sustainable buildings.

The second event in Colchester on Thursday 30 April features a visit to Worsnop House, a sheltered housing scheme owned by SustainaBuild project partners Colchester Borough Homes which has undergone a major low carbon retrofit; including gas absorption heat pumps, renewable technologies and energy efficiency measures.

The third event in Cambridge on Thursday 7 May is the final opportunity for businesses to receive free, expert advice on how to get the most out of the low carbon market and take their knowledge to the next level.

Rebecca Bear, programme manager at SustainaBuild said: “This is a great opportunity that not only gives small to medium sized businesses the chance to grow, but also helps stimulate low carbon economic growth in the East of England.”
