New features and prizes make a free visit to PHEX Wembley the best move you'll make this year!

The PHEX Plumbing & Heating Exhibition kicks off in April this year with an all-new look and some exciting new features and events.

As well as the long-established exhibition full of the plumbing and heating industry’s leading manufacturers and suppliers, for the first time PHEX will also feature live, in-depth product demonstrations, as well as a daily seminar programme covering key topics affecting UK plumbing and heating installers.

In recognition of PHEX’s role as the industry’s leading regional exhibition series, Gas Safe Register will be exhibiting and running seminars at all four events.

During these seminars, Gas Safe will give attendees an overview of how it’s helping gas engineers this year, as well as updates on the latest technical and legislation changes. Visitors will also be able to speak to Gas Safe Register inspectors, to get answers to all the questions they may have. Details of other seminars taking place at the events will be announced nearer the time.

Kicking off this year’s exhibition series, PHEX will be visiting London’s iconic Wembley stadium on 24 and 25 April, and Coventry’s Ricoh Arena on 15 and 16 May. Visitors will receive a free lunch, and will have the opportunity to take an exclusive tour of the stadium.

Tickets for the show are free, and any visitor who attends the show and pre-registers online at www.phexshow.co.uk will be in with a chance of winning £1,000-worth of holiday vouchers.

Plumbing merchant PTS – a long-time supporter of PHEX – is this year’s headline sponsor. As well as hosting hospitality at each exhibition, visitors will have the chance to win £600 of tools and workwear prizes at each event, supplied by the merchant.

Nicky Clegg, PTS’ head of marketing, said: “Since the launch of PHEX, the show has gained respect from the industry and is supported by leading manufacturers and trade associations. PTS has always been a proud supporter of the show that talks directly to local installers to keep them up to date on the latest products and technologies in the plumbing and heating sector.”

PHEX’s website - www.phexshow.co.uk - has been completely re-designed to promote the brand new features coming to the shows in 2012.

A fully comprehensive listing of each event’s seminar and product demonstration programme will be available online prior to each exhibition.

Visitors to the PHEX website will also find full details on what every exhibitor will be promoting at the show, as well as directions, opening times and testimonials from previous visitors and exhibitors.

PHEX organiser Claire Tilbury said: “For 18 years, PHEX has always offered installers and contractors an exciting alternative to the national trade shows. Working in such a fast-paced industry, it is becoming increasingly important that engineers stay up-to-date with new government legislation, Building Regulations and developing technologies.

“These changes can have a real impact on installers’ businesses, but keeping in touch with manufacturers can help to ensure that they always give their customers the right advice in any given situation. PHEX brings all these companies together under one roof, giving installers the chance to see as many as possible in a single day.

“We also recognise that giving up a day’s work to visit an exhibition can be a difficult decision in such a challenging economy. This is why we’ve made sure this year’s events offer installers even more for their valuable time, such as seminars and live product demonstrations.”

As well as the chance to win £1,000 of holiday vouchers at every event, visitors will also have the chance to enter a prize draw to win some fantastic new products, with many exhibitors also running special promotions and giveaways during each show.

For any merchant interested in sending their customers to PHEX, we will also be happy to arrange for free** coach transport to the exhibition from any merchant branch in the country.
