A Scottish building contractor is looking for subcontractors for a two-year framework covering up to £120 million-worth of work across Glasgow.

Council-owned contractor City Building was set up five years ago from the former Building Services department of Glasgow City Council.

It has split the agreement into 60 lots, covering work such as heating and plumbing, lift installation, joinery and Japanese knotweed removal.

As many as six companies will be appointed for each lot on the framework, which will initially run for two years with the option to extend for another two years.

The deadline to submit pre-qualification questionnaires is 18 August.
