Hyco Manufacturing has unveiled a new series of unvented electric storage water heaters.

Hyco Manufacturing has unveiled a new series of unvented electric storage water heaters. The 3kw Powerflow series contains 30-, 50- and 90-litre models.

Unvented cylinders are a popular option for new hot water systems because they operate at the same mains pressure as the incoming cold water supply, providing excellent flow rates without requiring header tanks in lofts.

The Powerflow models can be used to provide hot water in locations lacking, or remote from, existing systems, including additional bathrooms, kitchens, utility rooms or loft conversions.

Depending on the application and size of unit selected, each model can provide hot water for up to six sinks or one bedroom/one shower flats and allow the use of conventional taps, including mixers.

The Powerflow series also has highly durable stainless steel tanks and highly efficient thermal insulation. 

All the Powerflow models come with factory-fitted temperature and pressure relief valves. They have a thermostat adjustable to 65ºc, are wall mounted and have building regulations and CE approvals. 

An unvented accessory kit, including everything needed for installation, comes with each unit at no additional cost. This contains an expansion vessel with fixing bracket, inlet group, flexible hose and tundish.
