PHEX Manchester, which took place on 4 and 5 October at Old Trafford, has come and gone and was a roaring success with more visitors, more activities and more buzz than ever before.

Exhibitors from across the industry took the time to show off their latest and greatest products, innovations and offers, while meeting their customers and gaining plenty of new ones in the process.

Richard Allan, Key Account Manager at Salamander Pumps, said: “We’re delighted with the success of our products at the exhibition. Our HomeBoost pump remained our main attraction, receiving a great response from those attending the event, especially those already familiar with the product.

“We were also thrilled with the reaction to our product demonstrations, where installers, merchants and students alike praised the noise levels of our pumps, many of which have now been awarded the Quiet Mark status.”

If you missed them at Manchester, Salamander will be at PHEX Chelsea, taking place on 15 and 16 November at Stamford Bridge in London, so make your way over to stand 92 at Chelsea.

A major highlight of this year’s show was the #PHEXGives campaign, which featured a plethora of giveaways and offers for visitors across the two days, and will appear again at Chelsea in November.

Leading the #PHEXGives campaign was installer and Twitter personality Peter Booth (@pbplumber), who challenged visitors and exhibitors alike to beat him on the Batak machine, with the highest visitor score on each day receiving £500 in Amazon vouchers.

When not taking on Peter at batak, Viva Sanitary educated visitors on their dual flush technology, cistern fittings, pan connectors and waste traps. Stephanie Illingworth, Specification Manager at Viva Sanitary, said: “Manchester had a really good vibe, the industry is buzzing and PHEX Gives has made the exhibition stand out from the crowd. Cannot wait for Chelsea!”

However, it wasn’t just fun and games at PHEX Manchester, and exhibitors across the board got face to face with customers new and old, gaining new business from visitors who had the chance to see everything the industry has to offer to improve and support their ability to work day to day on plumbing and heating systems across the country.

Paul Martin, National Sales Manager at ATAG Commercial, said: “It was fantastic to see so many visitors at the show and on our stand. We spoke with many enthusiastic people about our range of commercial boilers, explaining the efficiencies of the products and the benefits of components, such as our state-of-the-art stainless steel heat exchangers.

“We will be showcasing our portfolio again at PHEX Chelsea in November, including boilers from our popular A Series, Q Series and XL ranges. Visitors should be sure to visit us on stand 35 to meet the team and find out more!”
