HaMuch, a new comparison service for tradespeople that focuses on hourly or daily rates, will launch to the public UK in October and has been partnered by several industry companies.

HaMuch, which is the only service of its kind to supply the hourly and daily rates of tradespeople signed up to the service, has been created to help the trades secure work by being clear on price.

Tradespeople from installers to builders to engineers are able to sign up for free to the site as a way of driving new business.

A customer can search for specific tradesperson with what job they require and their location then site lists tradespeople by hourly or daily rate, customer ratings or distance.

The site allows customers to post digital feedback, from emails they will receive after the work has been done, to rate the particular tradesperson or provider. HaMuch also works as a platform for tradespeople to showcase their services.

According to research conducted by HaMuch, more than half of tradespeople (*56%) revealed that the most common question they are asked by customers is based on the cost of their services.

Tarquin Purdie, Founder and Managing Director of HaMuch, said: “Cost is clearly one of the highest priorities for customers when choosing a service and HaMuch is a great tool for accessing this information, as well as supporting tradespeople in the process.

Tim Wilkes, Director of Marketing for Grundfos commented “The proposition that HaMuch offers is really well thought through and the team there have focussed on ensuring the experience for consumers and trades will be really easy and rewarding.”

Tradespeople signed up to HaMuch, who are members of its official partners’ specific trade clubs or similar schemes will also receive premium listings on the HaMuch website.

HaMuch’s official partners include: Danfoss, Delta Dore, Devi, Drayton, Franke, Grundfos, Pegler Yorkshire, Polypipe, Surestop, and WAGO.
