Apprentices must enter the Chartered Institute of Plumbing and Heating Engineering (CIPHE) Apprentice Awards before 31 July if they want a shot at being recognised for their hard work and skills.

The awards, which offers £500 in prize money for the talented winner, are open to apprentices from all ages, genders and backgrounds who are studying a qualification that will lead to an NVQ/SVQ in Plumbing/Heating Engineering. Entries are open to CIPHE members and non-members alike.

There are three categories to choose from, and applicants can enter more than one category. These are:

Heating – sponsored by the Heating and Hotwater Industry Council

Plumbing – sponsored by the Bathroom Manufacturers Association

Vulnerability – sponsored by the CIPHE

CIPHE Industrial Associate supporters can get involved too, with exclusive sponsorship packages available for the event. Sponsors already signed up include Adey, Saniflo, Viessmann, AKW and Fernox. Interested parties can contact Lesley Challis at lesleyc@ciphe.org.uk to find out more.
