In July 2016, hundreds of tradespeople gave their time, services and materials to transform Blackpool Carers Centre, as part of the ‘DIY SOS Big Build for BBC Children in Need’.

This included ATAG Commercial donating two Q60 boilers, which are supplying the building with highly efficient heating and hot water services.

The boilers were specified by Project Manager, Dave Hinchcliffe from building services engineers SC Horsfield. Commenting on ATAG Commercial, he said: “When we started planning the heating system for the DIY SOS installation, ATAG Commercial’s Q boilers were top of the list. Their stainless steel heat exchangers are pretty much bombproof, while everything on the boiler, from programming through to commissioning and servicing is really simple. The units really are ‘plug and play’ as far as setup is concerned.

“From a customer service point of view, we also knew we could rely 100% on ATAG Commercial. Given the onsite time constraints for this type of project, we couldn’t afford to have any delays and the support from the ATAG Commercial team was fantastic.”
