Gledhill, the cylinder specialist, is celebrating a double accomplishment after successfully passing two audits carried out by independent certification company, NAPIT.

The Blackpool-headquartered firm, which manufactures vented and unvented hot water cylinders and tanks, has been awarded both Benchmark accreditation and Hot Water Association (HWA) Charter Status.

Both schemes exist to ensure and recognise best practice in the industry, specifically with regards to manufacturing, installing, commissioning, supplying and servicing domestic heating and hot water products.

Jason Hobson, managing director at Gledhill, said: “We are delighted to have been successful in achieving both of these accreditations.

“We take great pride in manufacturing quality products on UK soil and receiving recognition like this is testament to the time and effort everyone, from the production line up to the senior management team, puts into going above and beyond to not only meet but exceed customer expectations.”

Isaac Occhipinti, external affairs manager of the Hot Water Association, added: “Congratulations to Gledhill on successfully achieving not one but two independently-accredited, nationally-recognised schemes.

“This outstanding achievement demonstrates Gledhill’s commitment to delivering the best products and services to both installers and consumers alike.”

With a network of depots across the UK, Gledhill manufactures stainless steel and copper products for UK and international markets.
