Daikin UK has launched a new loyalty scheme for installers of its Altherma air-to-water heat pumps and renewable heating products.

The scheme, called Daikin KEY, is designed to unlock the potential of the renewables market for traditional heating installers, while rewarding Daikin customers with exclusive tools, free training and merchandise.

Set up to support a closer working relationship between installers and Daikin UK, as well as reward and support the skills growth of UK renewable heating installers, Daikin KEY provides access to free training, business support and marketing materials.

"We are excited to be launching our KEY heating installer loyalty scheme. After surveying more than 200 installers and asking what they wanted most from a loyalty scheme, we believe KEY offers the most diverse and rewarding benefits for all members," said Nancy Jonsson, commercial director for domestic heating and renewables at Daikin UK. "Installers will have access to benefits including free product training courses, software tools and other rewards that will help support the growth of their businesses and the growth of the renewable heating industry as a whole."

To register for the KEY Installer Scheme, installers need to complete a Daikin training course at one of the company's five UK training centres. This allows access to the first level of KEY membership, rewarding installers with free Daikin product training, a three-year end-user warranty as well as co-branded marketing literature.

By attending further Daikin training courses, becoming installation certified and achieving a defined minimum annual turnover, members can progress to associate and partner level; unlocking more exclusive rewards and tools to promote their company.

From associate level membership, each Daikin installation accrues points that can be redeemed in return for exclusive Daikin merchandise and marketing support, or to book the mobile Daikin showroom for company events.

Partner members are further rewarded through the scheme with preferential discounts, five-year warranties and further marketing hospitality opportunities, as well as access to the new Daikin technology centre for training or dedicated events.

Additionally, the launch of the KEY installer mobile app provides a barcode scanner for on-the-go warranty registrations. As well as providing an easy way to complete warranty registrations and save registrations in progress, the app means installers can record indirect sales via merchants and claim points for these too when they register the warranty for these products.

KEY installer roadshows will be held around the country to introduce installers to both the scheme and the new Daikin Altherma Monobloc. These will be held on:

  • 2nd July - Bristol
