A new Impey Showers and Foundations Technical roadshow covering all aspects of installing a level access shower will take place between 21 October and 6 November, in six locations across England.

The roadshow has been developed by Impey, the wetroom specialists, together with Foundations, the national body for Home Improvement Agency and Handypersons Services. Foundations provide support to over 200 home improvement and handyperson service providers across the country.

Industry experts will provide hands-on experience and experts' advice on fault finding and troubleshooting, along with a Q&A session with the manufacturers: Impey Showers, Mira, Whale, Total Hygiene and Pollock Lifts.

“The innovative shower design is becoming an increasingly sought after adaptation due to the rapidly ageing population and the need to provide accessible showering solutions for the elderly and disabled. If installed correctly, a wetroom can benefit the user for up to ten years, therefore it is important for contractors to be fully trained on how to install a level access shower. “

Level access showers are set flush into the bathroom floor, allowing more space and an effortless and unrestricted entry for wheelchairs. Additionally, they make installing a wetroom an easier and more secure process.
