OFTEC freeze on fees
Published:  13 July, 2010

OFTEC has frozen the cost of its registration fees for the rest of the year.

The Oil Firing Technical Association (OFTEC) has frozen the cost of registration for the rest of the year (2010). This means that individual technician registration fees valid for five years total £144 per annum, or £12 per month.

To help new applicants spread the cost of training and registration, the association is now offering a one-year introductory registration option, which costs £280 ex-VAT.

After the one-year offer, technicians can renew using the five-year registration option, which can now be paid by direct debit over a 10-month period.

OFTEC says its registered technicians can self-certify their own work, avoiding costly building notices.
