Worcester, Bosch Group has honoured the royal birth by creating a one-off baby-blue boiler, which will be raffled to raise money for children's charity Acorns.

Sue Pennington, consumer brand manager at Worcester, Bosch Group, said: "As a British heating manufacturer with a Royal Warrant, we couldn't let such a momentous occasion pass us by. This year, we too welcomed a mini addition to the Worcester Greenstar family and so we thought it would be a great way for us to pay tribute to the future monarch by creating a blue version of our own baby boiler.

"Today will be a memorable day in British history and at Worcester we are proud to do something special to celebrate."

The 'baby boy-ler' will now be raffled to raise money for Acorns Children’s Hospice, a local Worcester charity which provides crucial care and support for life-limited children. Fans of the royals who want to get their hands on the limited edition CDi Compact can simply visit the 'baby boy-ler' Just Giving page, and donate £5.00 to Acorns before Tuesday 6 August at 6pm. A winner will then be chosen at random from all the people who donated.

Rachel Cranny, corporate fundraising officer at Acorns Children's Hospice, said: "Worcester Bosch Group is a long-term supporter of Acorns and its continued enthusiasm for developing new and creative ways to support us – such as this one-off boiler being up for grabs – is fantastic.

"We rely on fundraising for the majority of the £8m plus needed every year to run our vital services providing care to local life-limited children and their families. The commitment of organisations like this is vital to ensure we can continue our work. I'd like to say a big thank you on behalf of everyone at Acorns."
