Travis Perkins has bought The BSS Group for over £557 million.
Builders' merchant company Travis Perkins has bought The BSS Group for "approximately" £557.6 million.
In May, HVP reported on Travis Perkins' initial £553 million bid on BSS, which owns Plumbing Trade Supplies (PTS).
Travis Perkins' chairman, Robert Walker, said of the acquisition: "[It] will create the leading plumbing and heating trade and retail distribution business in the UK.
"Our respective businesses are complementary and we look forward to working with BSS' customers, suppliers and employees."
